Welcome to First Presbyterian Church of Norway. We exist to glorify God so that Norwegians and internationals might enjoy him forever. FPCN is an international and evangelical church plant in Stavanger, and we are looking for Christian brothers and sisters to help us plant Christ's church and bear witness to the gospel in Stavanger and beyond.
Our multinational community testifies to Christ's global kingdom mission as he redeems people from every tribe, tongue, and nation. We stand alongside other evangelical churches in our city as a beacon of light in a world of darkness. Above all, we preach the Word of God and believe with our Lord Jesus Christ that “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).

Gideon Rossouw
Teaching Elder
Gideon serves as the pastor of FPCN. He holds a degree in theology from Stellenbosch University and is completing his PhD in Historical Theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, with a dissertation on the Heidelberg Catechism and the tradition of Christian consolation.
Beyond the pulpit, he enjoys rugby, CrossFit, and conversations about Reformed theology. He has a two-year-old son, and his wife Carmé also serves alongside him at church.
